Weebly Pricing 2026: Plan Costs and Fees

Weebly is $0, $13, $15 and $32 a month on annual billing, and the numbers are not the interesting part. The full feature grid, read on September 6, 2026, shows Weebly gives away its entire online store on the free plan and charges you for the website: the domain, the storage, the stats and the removal of Square ads. It also shows why the $13 Personal tier is the one to skip.

Weebly pricing in 2026 is $0 for the Free plan, $13 a month for Personal, $15 for Professional and $32 for Performance, all billed annually. Month to month the same tiers cost $16, $20 and $36. Every figure on this page was read from weebly.com/pricing on September 6, 2026 from a United States connection, along with the full feature grid, because the interesting part of Weebly's pricing is not the numbers. It is which features sit behind which number.

Two things are worth knowing before you read the table. Weebly gives away its entire online store on the free plan, and charges you for the website. And the gap between the $13 tier and the $15 tier is two dollars a month for five separate feature unlocks, which makes Personal the strangest plan in the lineup.

Weebly pricing plans in 2026

Weebly sells four tiers. Annual billing is the default view on the pricing page, and the month to month rate is shown underneath it.

PlanBilled annuallyMonth to monthAnnual cost per yearWeebly's own description
Free$0/mo$0/mo$0Basic use
Personal$13/mo$16/mo$156Connect to a custom domain
Professional$15/mo$20/mo$180Connect your domain and add more customization
Performance$32/mo$36/mo$384Add features that drive growth and manage operations

Paying monthly instead of annually costs 23 percent more on Personal, 33 percent more on Professional and 12.5 percent more on Performance. The middle tier punishes monthly billing hardest, which is a small thing but a real one if you are the kind of business that prefers not to prepay a year on a platform.

What each Weebly plan actually unlocks

This is the part that reframes the pricing. Below is the site and support side of Weebly's own feature grid, read column by column on September 6, 2026.

Look at the Personal column. For $13 a month you get one thing the free plan does not give you: the ability to connect a domain you already own. Your site still carries Square advertising, still caps your storage, and still has no advanced stats and no password protection. Every one of those unlocks at Professional, which costs $15.

So the honest read of Weebly's price list is that Personal is a tier to skip. Two dollars a month, twenty four dollars a year, buys you five feature unlocks including the removal of somebody else's ads from your own business website. If you were going to pay Weebly anything at all, $15 is the number, not $13.

Weebly gives away the store and charges for the website

Here is the finding that surprised me most, and it is the opposite of how almost every website builder is priced. Weebly's entire commerce core sits on the free plan. Shopping cart, unlimited items, item badges, item options, quick shop, inventory management, in store pickup, the automatic tax calculator, coupons and Square gift cards are all marked as included on Free.

What you actually pay for at Personal and Professional are website features: the domain, the storage, the stats, the ad removal. The paid ecommerce features are pushed all the way to the top: PayPal acceptance, item reviews, abandoned cart emails and advanced ecommerce insights are Performance only, at $32 a month.

That tells you who Weebly's pricing was designed around. Square makes its money on card processing, so getting a merchant selling costs nothing and every transaction pays. The website is the upsell. It is a coherent strategy, and it is worth understanding before you decide whether you are the customer it was built for. If you sell products through Square in a physical shop, this pricing is genuinely good to you. If your website is a services site that will never take an online payment, you are paying for the half of the product you do not use, which is the same trade we walk through on our Square Online alternative comparison.

Is Weebly still worth paying for in 2026?

This is where the price list stops being the deciding factor. In June 2026 Square announced it is winding Weebly down across 67 countries, citing changes in regulation and a wish to simplify its global operations. Sites in the affected markets could no longer publish new pages from June 29, go offline on September 27, 2026, and lose account access on December 26, 2026.

The United States is not on that list, and neither are the United Kingdom, Canada or Australia. If you are reading this from a US business, your Weebly site is not being switched off. But a platform that has just exited 67 markets, stopped taking new signups, pulled its mobile apps and shipped no meaningful features in over a year is not a platform you want to prepay a year on. We go through the full timeline and what it means for US users in is Weebly shutting down.

The odd detail in all this is that the pricing page still advertises phone support on Personal and above, and priority support on Performance, on a product in maintenance mode. Read the plan grid on its own and you would never guess anything had changed.

How Weebly pricing compares to the rest of the category

At $15 a month for an ad free site with a domain, Weebly is not expensive. Squarespace, Wix and Webflow all start higher for a comparable brochure site. The problem is not the number, it is what the number is buying: a subscription to a frozen product.

Price is also the least useful axis for comparing website platforms, because what you are really buying is your own time. Every builder in this category, Weebly included, hands you an empty editor and a blank page and expects you to design the site, write every word of it and set up the SEO. That work does not appear on any price list, and for most small business owners it is the part that stalls for six months. If you want to sanity check what the rest of the market charges, we have done the same first hand read for Wix pricing and Squarespace pricing.

One practical note if you do decide to stay another year anywhere: annual prepay is where small software costs quietly compound, and the businesses that stay on top of it are the ones watching what each renewal actually costs rather than discovering it on a statement eleven months later.

What replacing a Weebly site actually costs

If you are moving, the comparison worth running is not $15 against $19. It is $15 plus a fortnight of your evenings against a price that includes the building and the writing.

AgentSite is flat from $15 a month billed yearly, or $19 billed monthly, with hosting, SSL and your custom domain included and no advertising on any plan. You describe your business in a sentence or two and an AI agent designs the pages, writes the copy, sets up the SEO and launches the site, then stays on as the editor you talk to when your hours or services change. There is no free tier and no ad supported plan, which is the trade: you are not the product, so nobody needs to put a banner on your homepage.

For a Weebly site specifically, the move is mostly a URL exercise. Keep your domain, rebuild the pages, and redirect each old address to its closest match with a 301. Our Weebly alternative page walks through the whole migration, including what to export from Weebly before December in the markets where accounts are closing.

Weebly pricing FAQ

How much does Weebly cost per month?

Weebly costs $0 for Free, $13 a month for Personal, $15 for Professional and $32 for Performance when billed annually. Month to month the paid tiers are $16, $20 and $36. Those figures were read from Weebly's US pricing page on September 6, 2026 and are per site, not per location.

Does Weebly have a free plan?

Yes, and it is more generous than most. The free plan includes SSL, the full shopping cart, unlimited items, inventory management, in store pickup, coupons and gift cards. What it does not include is a custom domain or the removal of Square advertising from your site, which is what the paid tiers are really selling.

Does the Weebly Personal plan remove ads?

No. This is the detail most comparison pages get wrong. Weebly's own plan grid marks Remove Square Ads on Professional and Performance only, so a Personal subscriber paying $13 a month still displays Square branding. Ad removal starts at Professional, $15 a month billed annually.

Is Weebly Performance worth $32 a month?

Only if you sell online in volume. Compared with Professional, Performance adds four ecommerce features, PayPal acceptance, item reviews, abandoned cart emails and advanced ecommerce insights, plus priority support. It costs $17 a month more. For a services business or a brochure site there is nothing in that list to buy.

Is Weebly shutting down in the US?

No. Square's June 2026 wind down covers 67 countries and the United States is not among them, so US sites stay online. The product is in maintenance mode rather than ending: no new signups, no mobile apps and no meaningful feature work. Treat it as a move to plan calmly rather than an emergency.

Can I get a refund if I prepay Weebly for a year?

Refund terms are set by Square and change, so check the current terms before you prepay rather than trusting any article, including this one. The safer approach on a platform in maintenance mode is to avoid an annual commitment entirely and pay month to month, even at the 23 to 33 percent premium, until you have decided where you are going.
