Refund Policy
Effective October 14, 2026
At a glance. Money paid to AgentSite stays paid. We send a charge back only in the three situations listed under "Where we do return a charge". Before you buy, the live build console on our homepage shows the agent at work, and once you are a customer you can turn off the renewal from Billing in your workspace whenever you like.
Turning off a renewal
Renewals are switched off from Billing in your workspace. It takes a moment and you do not need to write to anyone. From then on nothing else is charged, while your plan and your published site keep running to the last day of the period already paid. After that the site goes offline as described in our Terms of Service. Switching off a renewal is not a refund request and does not start one.
Plans renew on their own until you switch them off. As soon as a new period starts, the whole of it is open to you and its price is owed. A declined card does not cancel that debt: the card is tried again over the following days, and a later attempt may go through. These retries belong to the same unpaid period, so they are not a second bill. Turning off the renewal after a period has started stops the periods after it, not the one you are already in, and a renewal collected late after declined attempts is not refundable either. To avoid the next charge, switch the renewal off before the date shown in Billing.
Why payments are final
Every AgentSite plan is a subscription. A new plan opens with a full year billed upfront, because researching your business, writing every page, designing and launching a complete company website is most of the work and it happens in the first weeks. What you pay for is a period of access to the agent, hosting and your site, with the limits listed on the pricing page. It is not a fee per page, per edit or per message, and it is owed whether you chat with the agent daily or never open the workspace.
When you subscribe, you ask us to start building straight away. If a statutory right of withdrawal or a cooling-off period would otherwise apply to you, you accept that it ends once the build has begun at your request.
Reasons that do not lead to a refund
None of these returns all or part of a payment:
- You changed your mind, closed the business, or decided to build the site some other way.
- You did not publish, did not connect a domain, or barely used the agent during a paid period.
- The look, wording or structure the agent produced was not to your taste. AI output varies with the brief you give, and you can keep asking the agent for changes for as long as the plan runs.
- Traffic, search rankings, leads or sales after launch. Those depend on your market, your offer and much more than the website.
- A renewal went through, including one collected after earlier declined attempts.
- You took the plan for a one-off purchase. Each plan renews automatically, which the pricing page, the checkout, your confirmation email and Billing all say.
- You meant to turn off the renewal and forgot, or you turned it off right after a renewal.
- Something the pricing page does not describe, or a feature that works differently from what you pictured.
- Your domain, registrar, DNS or other accounts on your side were misconfigured, expired or blocked.
- You picked the wrong plan or billing term, or moved down to a smaller plan.
- The unused remainder of a period after you switch off the renewal. Nothing is pro-rated.
- Someone else used your workspace, including a colleague or contractor you gave access to.
Where we do return a charge
A refund is possible only in one of the cases below, only when our records bear it out, and only up to the charge concerned:
- Charged twice. A billing fault on our side took payment two times for the same period.
- Unauthorised use of your card, proven. Someone paid with your card without your consent, you tell us within 14 days, and the account and transaction records confirm it. A statement alone is not enough, the evidence decides, and we may ask you to confirm that you have also told your card issuer.
- AgentSite did not work at all. A confirmed fault of ours left the service completely unusable for an unbroken stretch, you told us while it was happening, and we could not put it right. Slowness, partial outages, and trouble with your own devices, network or files are excluded.
An approved refund is our whole liability for the matter. It never exceeds what you paid for the affected period, it goes only to the card that was charged, and one refund gives no right to another.
Asking for a refund
Email [email protected] from the address on your AgentSite account within 14 days of the charge, with the date and amount. Requests sent from another address or after those 14 days are not considered. We handle them in the order they arrive, we do not promise a response time, and we do not reopen a request once it has been declined.
Records we keep
Opening an account means accepting our Terms of Service, which include this policy, and our Privacy Policy. Before payment, the checkout shows the plan, the price, the billing term and the automatic renewal, and your confirmation email and Billing repeat it.
For each subscription we keep the time of purchase, the plan and price shown at checkout, your acceptance of the terms, the emails we sent you, renewal notices, and a log of activity in the workspace, such as sign-ins, briefs, agent conversations, edits and publications, with the technical details recorded alongside them. Our payment operator keeps its own record of each transaction, including the card's issuing country, where the payment came from and the result of bank authentication such as 3D Secure. A claim of unauthorised use is assessed against these records.
Chargebacks
If a charge looks wrong to you, write to us first. Opening a chargeback without contacting us breaches our Terms. When one is opened, we send the records above to your bank or card issuer and close the workspace for good.
Purchases before this policy
A plan bought before October 14, 2026 stays under the terms that applied on the day it was bought.
