Replit Pricing and Replit Cost 2026 With Plans and Hosting Fees

Replit Core is $20 a month and Pro $100, or $18 and $90 billed yearly, and each includes its price back as monthly credits. Every plan read from Replit, how effort-based Agent pricing spends those credits, what each deployment type costs, what happens past the credits, and what a business website costs on Replit for a year.

Replit costs $0 on the Starter plan, $20 a month on Core ($18 a month billed yearly) and $100 a month on Pro ($90 billed yearly), with Enterprise priced by quote. Core and Pro each include their price back as monthly credits, $20 and $100, and those credits pay for AI Agent work in its paid modes, for publishing your app, for database storage and for outbound data. Anything past the credits is billed as usage. Every figure below was read from replit.com/pricing and Replit's own billing documentation on October 1, 2026.

The sticker price is the simple part. What a month on Replit actually costs depends on how hard you work the Agent and which kind of deployment you publish on, so this guide covers the plan table, how the credits get spent, the hosting rates, the controls that stop a surprise bill, and what a year looks like if the thing you are building is a website for a business.

How much does Replit cost?

Replit has three self-serve plans and Enterprise. Yearly billing takes about 10 percent off.

PlanBilled monthlyBilled yearly (per month)Monthly creditsPeople
Starter$0$0Daily Agent credits and a small monthly cloud allowanceJust you
Core$20$18$20Up to 5 collaborators
Pro$100$90$100, rolls over for two monthsUp to 15 collaborators and 50 viewers
EnterpriseCustom quoteCustomCustom seat limits, SSO and SAML

Pro has no per-user fee. Replit describes it as one plan that up to 15 builders share, which makes it the better buy than several Core plans once a small team works in the same projects.

What each Replit plan includes

Starter is a trial. You get daily Agent credits with a monthly cap, Lite build mode only, 2 GB of workspace storage and one published app that expires automatically after 30 days. The Made with Replit badge stays on, third-party connectors such as Stripe and Google are locked, and Plan Mode is not available. You cannot run a business website on it for long.

Core at $20 a month is the real entry point. It unlocks full autonomous builds, Plan Mode, third-party connectors, unlimited workspaces and more than one published app, and it removes the badge. Replit's pricing page also lists a Free Mode allowance on Core of up to 30 hours of chat and up to 60 projects, for everyday Agent work that does not draw down credits.

Pro at $100 a month adds 10 parallel agents, a larger Free Mode allowance, premium support with direct access to a support engineer on business days, database rollback up to 28 days, and credit rollover. Enterprise adds SSO and SAML, advanced privacy controls, single-tenant environments and static outbound IPs.

How Replit credits work

Replit is a usage-billed platform with a subscription on top. The monthly credits are not a separate pot for AI. Replit applies them automatically to every paid service on the account: Agent work, publishing, network transfer, database storage and Replit's AI integrations. When the accumulated cost passes your credits, the rest is billed.

The Agent itself uses what Replit calls effort-based pricing. You are charged per checkpoint, and a simple request such as a bug fix or a small text change costs less than a complex build. The exact charge is known after the work is done, not before. There are four Agent modes:

  • Free Mode for no-cost everyday work within your plan's allowance.
  • Power for more capable models at a moderate cost.
  • Max for the strongest frontier models on the hardest work.
  • Auto, which picks the model for paid work.

Plan Mode, where the Agent writes an implementation plan without changing code, is cheaper per conversation because planning uses fewer tokens than editing. Replit recommends it for exactly that reason.

Do Replit credits roll over?

On Pro, yes: Replit states that unused Pro credits roll over for two months. Core's plan documentation describes monthly credits that apply automatically to paid services and does not describe a rollover, so budget Core as a monthly amount you use or lose. Starter's Agent credits reset daily up to a monthly cap.

What Replit hosting costs

This is the part most Replit pricing articles skip, and it matters if you are publishing a site that real customers visit. Every published app is a deployment, and each deployment type is billed differently from your credits.

Deployment typeHow it is billedGood for
StaticNo hosting fee; outbound data at $0.05 per GBPlain websites with no server code
Autoscale$2 a month base fee, plus $0.60 per million compute units and $0.40 per million requestsApps with uneven traffic
Reserved VM, shared$15 a month (0.5 vCPU, 2 GB RAM)Always-on apps with light load
Reserved VM, dedicated$35, $50 or $130 a month (1, 2 or 4 vCPU)Always-on apps with steady load
Scheduled$2 a month base fee plus $0.60 per million compute unitsBackground jobs

Replit's own worked examples land between about $2 a month for a background job and about $4.50 a month for an API serving 300,000 requests, so for a small site the hosting line is modest. The catch is the decision itself. A static marketing site is cheap, but anything the Agent builds with a server, a contact form handler or a database usually ends up on Autoscale or a Reserved VM, and the Agent chooses a lot of that structure for you unless you tell it otherwise.

What happens when you run out of Replit credits?

By default, usage past your monthly credits is billed. Replit gives you two controls to stop that turning into a surprise. You can set a monthly usage limit and a service shutdown limit in your account settings; when you hit the limit, usage-based services are blocked until the next billing cycle or until you raise it. For a live business site that is the trade to understand: a hard cap protects the card, but a blocked deployment means the site stops serving. The usage page shows spend in near real time by date, resource, project and member, which is worth checking weekly in the first month.

If you know you will go over, Replit sells credit packs of $100, $300, $500 and $1,000, with discounts on the larger packs. The $1,000 pack costs $950.

Replit Core vs Pro, which plan do you need?

Core is the right plan for one person building and publishing a few projects. The $20 of credits covers light Agent use in paid modes plus a small deployment or two, and Free Mode handles routine chat. Move to Pro when more than five people need access, when you run several agents in parallel, when you want database rollback for a production app, or when your monthly spend is regularly near $100 anyway, because Pro's credits roll over and Core's do not.

Pay yearly only once you know the plan fits. The saving is about 10 percent, $24 a year on Core and $120 on Pro, which is smaller than the yearly discounts most website builders offer.

What a business website costs on Replit for a year

Here is honest math for the most common non-developer use, a five to eight page site for a service business on its own domain. These are estimates built from Replit's published rates. Agent cost depends on how much you build and in which mode, so it is shown as a range of behavior rather than a number Replit publishes.

ScenarioPlan for a yearHostingAgent usage
Static site, built mostly in Free Mode$216 yearly or $240 monthlyData transfer, cents a month, paid from creditsLittle or none past the credits
Site with a form handler on Autoscale$216 to $240$24 a year in base fees plus usage, from creditsPower or Max builds draw the same $20 a month
Always-on site on a shared Reserved VM$216 to $240$180 a year, most of the monthly creditsHeavy Agent months bill on top

The plan plus hosting is cheap. What the table leaves out is the work: on Replit you decide the page structure, prompt or write every page, choose the deployment type and keep an eye on the usage meter. If that is the job you want, Replit is good value. If it is not, you are paying a low price for a project you then have to run.

Plans and credit amounts across AI builders have been reworked several times in two years, Replit's included, so a budget built on today's figures is worth rechecking every renewal. Teams that track a handful of vendors can save themselves the manual checking by monitoring vendor pricing pages for changes rather than finding out from an invoice.

Is Replit worth it for a small business website?

It is worth it if you, or someone on your team, enjoys building and wants control over code. Replit gives you a real development environment, the Agent does a lot of the heavy lifting, and the published rates are transparent. It is a poor fit if the goal is simply a finished site for the business. Then you are buying a coding platform to avoid writing code, and you still own every decision a web designer would normally make.

That is the gap AgentSite fills. You describe the business once, and the agent plans the pages, writes every one, sets titles, meta descriptions and the sitemap, and publishes the site on your domain with hosting and SSL included. Plans start at $49 a month billed yearly or $99 month to month, with 150 edits a month on Starter, and there is no deployment type to pick. Our Replit alternative comparison puts the two side by side plan by plan, including where Replit is the better choice.

Replit pricing FAQ

Is Replit free?

Replit has a free Starter plan with daily Agent credits, Lite build mode and one published app that expires after 30 days. It is enough to try the Agent, not to run a site. Full builds, more published apps, connectors and badge removal start on Core at $20 a month.

How much is Replit Core?

Replit Core is $20 a month, or $18 a month billed yearly. It includes $20 of monthly credits that pay for Agent work in paid modes, publishing, storage and data transfer, plus a Free Mode allowance for everyday Agent chat. Up to 5 collaborators can work in your projects.

How much does Replit Pro cost?

Replit Pro is $100 a month, or $90 a month billed yearly, with $100 of monthly credits that roll over for two months. It adds up to 15 collaborators and 50 viewers, 10 parallel agents, priority support and 28-day database rollback. There is no per-user fee.

Why is my Replit bill higher than the plan price?

Because Replit bills usage past your monthly credits. Heavy Agent work in Power or Max mode, an always-on Reserved VM, or a busy Autoscale deployment can use more than the $20 or $100 included. Set a monthly usage limit in account settings and check the usage page to see which project and resource is spending.

Does Replit charge for hosting?

Yes, from your credits. Static deployments are billed only on outbound data at $0.05 per GB, Autoscale and Scheduled deployments carry a $2 monthly base fee plus compute, and Reserved VMs cost $15 to $130 a month depending on size.

Is Replit cheaper than Lovable?

On entry price, yes: Replit Core is $20 a month against Lovable Pro at $25. They meter differently, though. Lovable sells message credits, while Replit charges the Agent by effort and also bills hosting from the same credits, so the cheaper option depends on how much you build and what you publish.
