Gymdesk costs $75 to $200 a month for gyms with up to 250 active members if you process payments through Gymdesk Payments, and $100 to $240 a month if you use your own processor. Gyms above 250 active members get a custom Enterprise quote. Every plan includes the full software, unlimited staff accounts and a responsive gym website, and the tier is set only by how many active members you have. We read every price here from the Gymdesk pricing page on October 24, 2026, from a US connection, and all of them are in US dollars.
For a single location gym that works out to $900 to $2,400 a year with Gymdesk Payments. The website that comes with it is a builder you fill in yourself. If you would rather keep Gymdesk for scheduling and billing and have the program, coach and membership pages written for you, our fitness website builder does that for $49 a month billed yearly ($588 a year), and every Join and Book button on it opens your Gymdesk signup or schedule.
Gymdesk plans and prices
Gymdesk sells one product in five sizes. Nothing is feature gated, so the only question is which member band you fall into and whether you process through Gymdesk Payments, which knocks $25 to $40 a month off the price.
| Plan | Active members | With Gymdesk Payments | With your own processor | Per year, with Gymdesk Payments |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Micro Gym | Up to 50 | $75/mo | $100/mo | $900 |
| Small Gym | 51 to 100 | $100/mo | $125/mo | $1,200 |
| Medium Gym | 101 to 150 | $150/mo | $175/mo | $1,800 |
| Large Gym | 151 to 250 | $200/mo | $240/mo | $2,400 |
| Enterprise | 251 and up | Custom quote | Quoted | |
Billing is month to month. Gymdesk states no setup fee, no minimum term and no cancellation cost, and you cancel from inside your account. Gymdesk Payments is available in the US and Canada and is subject to approval. Outside those two countries, an approved processing partner qualifies for the same lower rate.
One thing worth knowing before you compare quotes: several review and competitor sites still list Medium as 101 to 200 members and Large as 201 to 400. The bands Gymdesk prints today are narrower, 101 to 150 and 151 to 250, so a gym with 180 members now lands in Large at $200 a month, not Medium at $150. Check your count against the current page, not a cached review.
What counts as an active member in Gymdesk?
An active member is someone on a current membership. Gymdesk says visitors, frozen members, cancelled members and prospects sitting in your CRM do not count toward your tier. That matters in two directions. A gym that freezes a lot of members over the summer pays for fewer people than it has on file, and a gym that sells a big January promotion can move up a band for as long as those memberships stay active.
How much does Gymdesk cost with add-ons?
The plan price covers the software. Three things cost extra, and all three are on the pricing page's price builder.
| Add-on | Published price | What it adds per year |
|---|---|---|
| Each additional location | $50/mo with Gymdesk Payments or a preferred partner, $100/mo with your own processor | $600 or $1,200 |
| Branded member app | $100/mo, first month free | $1,100 in year one, $1,200 after |
| Door access (beta) | $100/mo for up to 3 doors, then $29 per extra door | $1,200 for 3 doors, plus a one-time hardware and installation quote |
Card processing is the other cost, and the pricing page does not print Gymdesk Payments' processing rate. Ask for it in writing before you switch, because on a gym billing $20,000 a month in dues a difference of half a percentage point is $1,200 a year, more than the gap between two plan tiers.
Does Gymdesk have a free plan or a free trial?
Gymdesk offers a 30 day free trial with every feature and no credit card required. The pricing page we read lists no free plan, so after the trial you pick a paid tier or stop. Some third party articles describe a limited free version for very small gyms. We could not find it on the current pricing page, so do not plan around it.
Does Gymdesk include a website?
Yes. Every plan includes a responsive gym website. Gymdesk's website feature is a no code builder where you add your logo, colors, photos and any pages you like, with the class schedule, online signups with waivers and payment capture, lead forms, trial class booking and an online shop for merchandise built in. If you already have a website, Gymdesk also lets you add its schedule, signup forms and booking widget to that site instead.
What the builder does not do is write. Every program page, coach bio, membership explanation and FAQ is text you type in. That is the part most gym owners never finish, and it is the part that decides whether someone searching for strength classes for women over 40 or kids jiu-jitsu near a particular neighborhood finds your gym or the one down the road. Answering trial and pricing questions on the site after the front desk closes is a separate problem, and a website chatbot that answers visitors and captures leads covers that one.
Gymdesk pricing vs Zen Planner and PushPress
These are the prices each vendor published when we read them in October 2026. Zen Planner and PushPress prices are "starting at" figures, and both vary with member count and add-ons.
| Software | Entry price | Cheapest plan with a website | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gymdesk | $75/mo (up to 50 members, with Gymdesk Payments) | $75/mo, every plan | Priced by active members, all features in every tier |
| Zen Planner | Studio from $99/mo | Essentials from $198/mo, or a standalone website from $99/mo | Ultimate from $348/mo. App and card readers $39 each |
| PushPress | Free core plan, $0 | Grow, $329/mo | Pro $159, Max $229 and Train $79 list no website. Branded app $97/mo |
| Kilo | Not software, a managed website | $175/mo | A fitness marketing firm builds and manages the site and writes blog posts |
On price alone, Gymdesk is the cheapest way to get gym software and a website in one bill for a gym under 150 members. Zen Planner costs more for the website tier, and PushPress only bundles websites in its top plan. Kilo is the only option here where somebody else writes the site, and you pay for that at $175 a month on top of whatever software you run.
What Gymdesk costs over three years
Month to month pricing makes the first month look small. This is what a single location pays over 36 months with Gymdesk Payments, assuming published prices hold and your member count stays in the same band.
| Setup | Per month | Year one | Three years |
|---|---|---|---|
| Micro Gym, up to 50 members | $75 | $900 | $2,700 |
| Small Gym, 51 to 100 members | $100 | $1,200 | $3,600 |
| Medium Gym, 101 to 150 members | $150 | $1,800 | $5,400 |
| Medium Gym plus the branded app | $250 | $2,900 | $8,900 |
| Large Gym, 151 to 250 members, two locations | $250 | $3,000 | $9,000 |
| Small Gym plus AgentSite Starter for the written site | $149 | $1,788 | $5,364 |
The last row is the combination we would actually suggest to a gym that wants new members from search: Gymdesk for the schedule, billing and signups, and a written site on your own domain whose buttons go to Gymdesk. AgentSite Starter is $588 a year, paid upfront for the first year, and includes hosting, SSL, your custom domain, up to eight pages and 150 chat edits a month.
Is Gymdesk worth it?
For an independent gym, martial arts school, yoga studio or CrossFit style box under 250 members, Gymdesk is one of the better values in gym software. You get every feature at every tier, there is no contract, you can export your members, attendance, payments and waivers yourself, and Gymdesk states it charges nothing to leave. A gym already paying $150 or more for software that splits features across tiers will usually pay less here.
It is a weaker fit if you need a large enterprise setup, if your processor relationship gives you rates Gymdesk Payments cannot match (the own-processor prices are $25 to $40 higher), or if you expect the included website to bring in new members by itself. The website is a container. It holds whatever you write into it.
Where the Gymdesk website falls short, and what to pair it with
A gym gets members from search one program at a time. The person looking for a 5:30 a.m. strength class, the parent looking for a youth program and the 50 year old looking for a beginner friendly gym are three searches, and each one needs a page that answers it with the schedule, the price or intro offer, the coach and a Join button. Gymdesk gives you the tools to build those pages. It does not write them, and a blank page builder is where most gym websites stall.
That is the job our gym website builder does. You describe the gym once, the programs, class times, membership prices, intro offer, coaches and neighborhoods, and an AI agent writes and publishes a page for each program and coach on your domain. Every Book and Join button links to your Gymdesk schedule and signup pages, so billing and check in do not change. If you are still weighing what a site should cost at all, the website builder cost comparison lays out every route, and the best website builder for gyms guide covers what the pages themselves should say.
Gymdesk pricing questions
How much does Gymdesk cost per month?
Gymdesk costs $75, $100, $150 or $200 a month with Gymdesk Payments for up to 50, 100, 150 or 250 active members, and $100, $125, $175 or $240 with your own processor (read October 24, 2026). Above 250 active members, Enterprise is quoted. Extra locations, the branded app and door access are add-ons.
Does Gymdesk charge a setup fee?
No. Gymdesk's pricing page states $0 for setup fees, contracts and cancellation, and billing is month to month. Hardware and installation for the door access add-on are the one exception, quoted separately because they depend on your building.
Can I cancel Gymdesk any time?
Yes. Gymdesk is month to month with no minimum term, you cancel from inside your account, and Gymdesk says it does not charge to cancel or to take your records with you. Members, attendance history, payment records, waivers and documents export as standard files.
Is Gymdesk cheaper than Zen Planner?
Usually, yes, for a gym that wants a website included. Gymdesk includes a website from $75 a month, while Zen Planner's website comes with Essentials from $198 a month or as a standalone add-on from $99 a month (read October 2026). Both prices move with member count, so compare at your actual number.
