Build Your Firm costs $95.00 a month for its Professional accounting website, or $85.50 a month if you pay annually. Platinum and Niche sites are $120.00 a month ($108.00 paid annually), and Niche adds a one-time setup fee that varies by niche. Content Marketing in a Box, the done-for-you marketing package, starts at $399.95 a month ($359.96 paid annually). We read every price here from the Build Your Firm pricing page on October 21, 2026, and all of them are in US dollars.

For a small firm that works out to about $1,026 to $4,800 a year. What you buy is a managed accounting website with SEO, a newsletter tool, file sharing and, on the higher plans, payments and a marketing manager. One thing matters more than any line on the pricing card: Build Your Firm's own FAQ says it owns the website and the website content if you cancel. If you would rather have pages about your own firm that stay yours, compare our CPA website builder. An AI agent writes those pages and publishes them on your domain for $49 a month billed yearly ($588 a year), and every page exports as HTML whenever you want.

Build Your Firm plans and prices

The pricing page has a Websites tab and a Marketing tab, each with a Pay Monthly and a Pay Annually toggle. These are the four website plans as they appear, with our yearly arithmetic.

PlanPay monthlyPay annuallyPer year, annualFree trial
Professional$95.00/mo$85.50/mo$1,02630 days
Platinum (most popular)$120.00/mo$108.00/mo$1,29660 days
Niche$120.00/mo plus setup$108.00/mo plus setup$1,296 plus setup60 days
Content Marketing in a Box$399.95/mo$359.96/mo$4,319.5290 days

The annual rate is exactly 10 percent off every plan. Each price on the page is labeled "Starting at", so treat them as the floor. Paying monthly for Professional comes to $1,140 a year, and paying monthly for Content Marketing in a Box comes to $4,799.40.

What each plan adds

PlanWhat the plan card lists
Professional, $95Full-site SEO optimization, an automated email newsletter, DIY marketing tools, a custom About page and a 10 GB file sharing tool
Platinum, $120An electronic payment system, the automated newsletter, full-site SEO and a 50 GB file sharing tool
Niche, $120 plus setupA site built around one industry or specialty service, with unique copy and images for that niche, full-site SEO and the payment system
Content Marketing in a Box, $399.95The ROI guarantee, advanced SEO, AI search visibility, video marketing, Google review optimization, a dedicated marketing manager, social media marketing, monthly blog postings and 200 GB of file sharing

The real jump is between Platinum and Content Marketing in a Box. The first three plans are a website with tools. The fourth is a marketing service with a website attached, and it costs about $3,000 more a year than Platinum. If what you need is someone writing and posting for the firm every month, that is the plan. If what you need is better pages on the site, it is a lot to pay for the blog and social posts that come with it.

The fees the pricing card does not show

Build Your Firm's FAQ fills in details the plan cards leave out, and a few of them change the real cost.

ItemWhat the FAQ says
Niche setup feeA one-time setup fee from $500 to $1,500, depending on the scope of the project
Custom websiteA one-time setup fee of $2,500, then monthly hosting
Free trial length60 days if you pay by ACH, 30 days if you pay by credit card, and the trial starts after up to 30 days of development
ContractNone if you pay monthly, cancel any time. The FAQ describes the top plan as a one year commitment
Ownership on cancel"BYF owns the website and the website content if you cancel. The website is non-transferable"
EditsMade by emailing support or calling the website team

The FAQ still prints older prices in places: Professional at $83.33 a month, Platinum at $99.95 and a Platinum Plus level at $399.95 with a one year commitment. The pricing page is the current source, and the gap is a reason to get your quote in writing before you sign.

The trial detail is easy to miss. A credit card halves the trial, so a firm that wants the full 60 days needs to pay by ACH. The ownership clause matters most of all. The domain can stay in your name, and Build Your Firm encourages that, but the pages and the copy stay with Build Your Firm. Leaving means rebuilding the site from scratch.

The ROI guarantee, read closely

Build Your Firm advertises a one-year money-back guarantee and calls it an ROI guarantee. The guarantee page says it applies to the Content Marketing in a Box hosting program. It covers the monthly hosting fees, optional pay-per-click management fees and the website investment for the first 12 paid months after the free trial. If the firm does not bring in more new business than it spent in that period, Build Your Firm refunds the investment. The Professional, Platinum and Niche plans have no guarantee, only the free trial. That is a fair offer for a firm ready to spend about $4,300 a year on marketing. It does nothing for a firm choosing between the $95 and $120 sites.

Three year cost of Build Your Firm and its rivals

Totals use published prices only and count 36 paid months. Free trial months, taxes, payment processing, domains and ad spend are left out.

CPA Site Solutions figures are $90 and $166.50 a month plus Diamond's $99 setup, read October 19, 2026. AdZep is its published $398 for three years. A Niche site with a $1,500 setup on monthly billing comes to $5,820, which is more than a Diamond site at CPA Site Solutions.

Is Build Your Firm worth it

It is a good fit for a firm that wants one vendor to handle everything and someone to call. Build Your Firm works only with accounting firms, says it hosts close to 1,000 of their sites, and offers payments and file sharing in one package. Niche sites with copy written for one industry are a real step up from a generic CPA template. The trade is that you rent the site. Over three years you pay $3,000 to $13,000 and own none of the pages at the end.

It is a weaker fit for a firm whose growth comes from search. A search for a CPA for dental practices, for S corp tax help in a particular city, or for an IRS notice response lands on a page about exactly that. Template copy rarely says it. If those pages are what bring clients in, you want a site that writes them for your firm, can add one in a sentence when you take on a new niche, and goes with you if you ever switch vendors.

Which plan to buy

If you stay with Build Your Firm, pay annually. It takes 10 percent off every plan, and paying by ACH doubles the trial. Professional suits a firm that only needs a credible site. Platinum is worth the extra $270 a year if clients pay invoices online. Pick Niche only if one industry brings in most of your revenue. Pick Content Marketing in a Box only if you will hold the vendor to the ROI guarantee and track new clients against what you spend. Whichever tier you choose, register the domain in your own name first.

When a site written for your firm is the better buy

AgentSite is an AI agent that builds the website for you. You describe the firm: the services you sell, the industries you know, the towns you serve, how you price and how a new client books a call. The agent plans the pages, writes every one, sets titles and meta descriptions, and publishes the site on your domain with hosting and SSL included. When you add a service or start chasing a new niche, you type one sentence and the page is live in minutes, with no email to a support queue. Starter is $49 a month billed yearly ($588 a year) for one site with up to eight pages and 150 chat edits a month. Pro is $124 a month billed yearly for up to five sites, which covers a niche brand next to the main firm site.

What it does not include, so you can rule it out quickly: there is no client portal, no file sharing and no newsletter tool. If you need those in the same box as the website, Build Your Firm or CPA Site Solutions bundle them. Firms that use a separate portal and payment tool link to them from AgentSite with a button. Time spent on the website also competes with tax-season work, so cut the hours you lose to the books themselves too, for example by matching client bank statements to the ledger automatically rather than tick by tick.

Build Your Firm pricing questions

How much does Build Your Firm cost?

Build Your Firm costs $95.00 a month for Professional, $120.00 for Platinum, $120.00 plus a one-time setup fee for a Niche site and $399.95 for Content Marketing in a Box. Paying annually takes 10 percent off, bringing those to $85.50, $108.00 and $359.96 a month. That is about $1,026 to $4,800 a year before setup fees.

Does Build Your Firm have a free trial?

Yes. Professional comes with a 30 day free trial, Platinum and Niche with 60 days, and Content Marketing in a Box with 90 days. The FAQ adds that the 60 day trial needs ACH payment, and paying by credit card shortens it to 30 days. Development can take up to 30 days before the trial starts.

Does Build Your Firm require a contract?

Not on the monthly website plans. The FAQ says you can pay month to month and cancel at any time, and that annual payment earns a discount. The FAQ describes the top marketing level as a one year commitment, and its ROI guarantee is measured over the first 12 paid months, so expect a year on that plan.

Who owns the website if I cancel Build Your Firm?

Build Your Firm does. Its FAQ says BYF owns the website and the website content if you cancel, and the website is non-transferable under its agreement. It encourages you to own the domain name, so register the domain yourself and keep copies of anything you write for the site.

What is the difference between Build Your Firm and CPA Site Solutions?

CPA Site Solutions sells four tiers from $90 to $166.50 a month around a licensed library of more than 3,000 tax pages and a client portal, billed monthly with no annual discount. Build Your Firm sells $95 and $120 sites with 10 percent off for annual payment, niche sites with copy written for one industry, and a $399.95 marketing package with an ROI guarantee.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Build Your Firm?

Yes. AdZep sells a CPA website for $199 a year if you write the copy, and AgentSite Starter is $49 a month billed yearly ($588 a year) with every page written by an AI agent and exportable as HTML. Neither includes file sharing or a newsletter tool, and AgentSite has no client portal, so price those separately if you use them.
