Unbounce costs $29 a month on Starter, $99 on Build, $149 on Experiment and $249 on Optimize for US buyers, or $22, $74, $112 and $187 a month billed yearly. Concierge and Agency plans are quoted by sales. Every plan includes unlimited conversions and hosting, but each one caps monthly visitors (500, 20,000, 30,000 and 50,000), and going over costs $80 for every extra 10,000 visitors. A/B testing starts on Experiment. Every price here was read from unbounce.com/pricing as served to a US visitor on October 8, 2026.

The visitor cap is the line most Unbounce pricing roundups skip, and it is the one that decides your real bill once paid traffic is running. After the plan table, this guide covers what each tier unlocks, where A/B testing and Smart Traffic start, how the overage fee works with worked examples, what a year costs, how Unbounce compares with Leadpages on price, and when a different kind of tool is the better spend.

How much does Unbounce cost per month?

Unbounce sells four self-serve plans and two sales-led ones. Yearly billing saves 25 percent on every self-serve tier, which is a bigger discount than most landing page tools offer.

PlanBilled monthlyBilled yearlyMonthly visitorsPages, users, domains
Starter$29$264 a year ($22/mo)Up to 5005 pages, 1 user, 1 root domain
Build$99$888 a year ($74/mo)Up to 20,000Unlimited pages, 1 user, 1 root domain
Experiment$149$1,344 a year ($112/mo)Up to 30,000Unlimited pages, 3 users, 2 root domains
Optimize$249$2,244 a year ($187/mo)Up to 50,000Unlimited pages, 5 users, 3 root domains

All plans include unlimited conversions, unlimited subdomains, more than 100 templates, hosting and phone, email and chat support. Unbounce marks Experiment as its most popular plan, which makes sense once you see that it is the first tier with testing.

What each Unbounce plan includes

Starter is a way to launch a first campaign: the drag and drop builder, 5 pages, lead gen forms and one root domain. The 500 visitor cap is the catch. A modest search campaign at a $2 to $4 cost per click sends 500 people in a week or two, so Starter suits a test, not a running program.

Build is the real entry plan. It removes the page limit, raises traffic to 20,000 visitors a month and adds popups and sticky bars, multi-step forms, AI copywriting, custom code and scripts, and the 1,000 plus integrations. It is still one user and one root domain, and it has no A/B testing.

Experiment adds unlimited A/B testing with unlimited variants, manual traffic allocation, confidence intervals, dynamic text replacement (matching page copy to the keyword someone searched) and conversion reporting, plus 3 users and 2 root domains. Optimize adds AI traffic optimization, which Unbounce markets as Smart Traffic: it routes each visitor to the variant most likely to convert for someone like them. It also adds scheduling for pages, popups and sticky bars, advanced triggers, industry benchmarks and audience insights, with 5 users and 3 root domains.

Where does A/B testing start on Unbounce?

A/B testing starts on Experiment, at $149 a month or $112 a month billed yearly. Build at $99 cannot split test at all, and Starter cannot either. Smart Traffic, the automatic routing that Unbounce is known for, needs Optimize at $249 a month or $187 billed yearly.

That matters for budgeting because testing is the main reason marketers pick Unbounce over a cheaper page builder. If you will not run tests, Build gives you the editor and the integrations at $99. If you will, the honest entry price is $149, and a test only reaches a trustworthy result with enough traffic per variant, which on many small accounts means weeks per test.

What happens if you go over the Unbounce visitor limit?

Your pages keep running, and Unbounce charges a one-time overage fee of $80 for every additional 10,000 visitors, rounded up, at the end of the billing cycle. A visitor is one person who views a page, popup or sticky bar at least once in a month, counted once by cookie however often they return. Unbounce warns you by email and in the app as you approach the limit, and upgrading before the cycle ends avoids the fee.

Here is what that looks like in practice, using the published caps:

Plan and capVisitors that monthOver byOverage fee
Build, 20,00021,0001,000$80 (one block, rounded up)
Build, 20,00035,00015,000$160
Experiment, 30,00052,00022,000$240
Optimize, 50,00085,00035,000$320

Two things follow. First, the cap is per account, not per page or per client, so ten campaigns share one allowance. Second, the moment a campaign takes off is exactly when the bill moves. If your traffic regularly sits 10,000 or more above your cap, the next plan up is usually cheaper than paying overages: Build to Experiment is $50 a month and adds 10,000 visitors plus testing, which costs less than one $80 block.

Does Unbounce have a free plan or free trial?

There is no free plan. Unbounce offers a 14-day trial of the plan you choose with no credit card required, and asks for payment only if you continue. The trial runs with limits: a single user, no custom domain and some traffic restrictions. You can subscribe at any point during the trial, and you can upgrade any time, but a downgrade only takes effect at the end of the current monthly or yearly billing cycle.

What does Unbounce cost for a year?

Because the yearly discount is 25 percent, the gap between paying monthly and paying yearly is large on the upper tiers. Here is a full year on each self-serve plan, before taxes and before any overage:

Plan12 months billed monthlyOne year billed yearlyYou save
Starter$348$264$84
Build$1,188$888$300
Experiment$1,788$1,344$444
Optimize$2,988$2,244$744

Two common add-ons sit outside these numbers. Your own domain is bought separately, and Unbounce sells professional services (onboarding, page migrations and redesigns) on top of any plan. If your pages publish to your own WordPress site instead of Unbounce hosting, you also carry that hosting bill.

Unbounce vs Leadpages pricing

Leadpages is the comparison most buyers make, and on price the two land in a similar band with one structural difference: Leadpages does not cap visitors on any tier, while every Unbounce plan does. Here are both, read from each vendor's US pricing page in October 2026.

Leadpages is cheaper to start testing and never meters traffic. Unbounce has the deeper testing tool on its middle tier (unlimited variants, confidence intervals, manual allocation) and a 25 percent yearly discount against Leadpages' 20. If you run high traffic paid campaigns and test constantly, the overage math deserves a minute before you pick. Our Leadpages pricing breakdown has every Leadpages tier, and the landing page builder pricing comparison puts Unbounce beside Instapage, Landingi, Swipe Pages and others with first year totals.

Is Unbounce worth the money?

Yes, if your business runs on paid traffic and you will actually test. A page that converts at 6 percent instead of 4 cuts your cost per lead by a third, and on a few thousand dollars a month of ad spend that pays for Experiment many times over. Unbounce has been doing this longer than almost anyone, the editor is fast, and the testing tools on Experiment and Optimize are real.

It is a poor fit in two situations. If your traffic is mostly organic and your campaigns are small, you are paying for testing you cannot run with statistical confidence, and a 20,000 visitor cap you may never approach. And if what you actually need is a business website (service pages, an about page, a blog, pages that rank on Google), a campaign page tool is the wrong category. Unbounce gives you an empty canvas and expects you to bring the copy.

That second case is where AgentSite fits. It is an AI agent that plans, writes and publishes a whole website from a description of your business, with hosting and SSL included and no visitor meter, so a page that starts ranking does not create an invoice. If you want focused campaign pages without testing, the agent builds those too, as covered on our landing page builder page. If you are already weighing Leadpages against it, the Leadpages alternative comparison sets out who should buy which.

Whichever tool you choose, it helps to know what the other side is running before you spend on traffic. Keeping an eye on the landing pages and ads your competitors are running tells you which offers they are paying to push, which is a cheaper source of test ideas than guessing.

Unbounce pricing FAQ

How much is Unbounce a month?

Unbounce is $29 a month on Starter, $99 on Build, $149 on Experiment and $249 on Optimize when billed monthly in the US. Billed yearly, the same plans work out to $22, $74, $112 and $187 a month, a 25 percent saving. Concierge and Agency plans are priced by the sales team.

Does Unbounce charge for going over the traffic limit?

Yes. Pages stay live, and Unbounce charges $80 for each additional 10,000 visitors over your plan's monthly cap, rounded up, at the end of the billing cycle. Going 1,000 visitors over a 20,000 cap costs one full $80 block. Upgrading before the cycle ends avoids the fee.

Is there a free version of Unbounce?

No. Unbounce has no free plan. It offers a 14-day trial with no credit card on the plan you pick, limited to one user, no custom domain and restricted traffic. After the trial you subscribe to a paid plan to keep your pages live.

Which Unbounce plan has A/B testing?

Experiment is the first plan with A/B testing, at $149 a month or $112 billed yearly, with unlimited tests and variants. Optimize at $249 adds Smart Traffic, which routes each visitor to the variant most likely to convert for them. Starter and Build have no testing.

Can I cancel or downgrade Unbounce at any time?

You can change plans from Account Management, then Subscriptions. Upgrades apply right away, while a downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle, monthly or yearly. On a yearly plan that means you keep paying for the higher tier until the year is up.

Is Unbounce cheaper than Leadpages?

At the entry level, no. Leadpages' HTML Pub Starter is $10 a month against Unbounce Starter at $29, and Leadpages includes A/B testing from $99 while Unbounce needs $149. Unbounce's yearly discount is larger (25 percent against 20), and its testing tools are deeper on the middle tier.
